Hurxley Group Human Rights Policy

The Hurxley Group's management philosophy is to "create a prosperous future, aspiring for the health and happiness of all people." We understand that in order to achieve this, human rights of all people affected by our business activities must be respected. In the course of our business, we recognize that human rights may be directly or indirectly affected by our business. In order to respect the human rights of all people involved in our business, we have established the Hurxley Group Human Rights Policy (the "Policy") in accordance with the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights adopted by the United Nations Human Rights Council, and will promote our efforts to respect human rights.

1. Basic tenets on human rights

The Hurxley Group respects human rights as set out in the United Nations Bill on Human Rights (the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Human Rights), which stipulates fundamental human rights of all people, and ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (ILOILO) which stipulates fundamental principles and rights at work.

2. Scope of Application

This policy applies to executives and employees of the Hurxley Group. The Hurxley Group also hopes that its business partners, including suppliers, will understand and support the content of this policy, and encourages them to respect this policy.

3. Human rights due diligence

The Hurxley Group will strive to establish and implement a mechanism for human rights due diligence in accordance with procedures consistent with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights to identify adverse human rights impacts. We will identify, prevent and mitigate any adverse human rights impacts that may be associated with our own corporate activities. The Hurxley Group will endeavor to prevent and mitigate any negative human rights impacts that it may have caused or encourages through its business activities.

4. Dialogue and consultation

The Hurxley Group will enhance its efforts to respect human rights through dialogue and consultation with related stakeholders.
